WBHS's Auditorium offers a wonderful proscenium stage with a seating capacity of nearly 800 people. All of the theatre program's main stage productions are produced in the auditorium, as are all school band, orchestra, and choir concert performances.
Under the direction of Mark Johnson, student technical crews also help to run shows from outside organizations and groups. If your organization is interested in renting our facilities, contact Mark Johnson.
Lighting Booth
The inventory of lighting instruments, sound equipment, and other supplies provide a tremendous environment in which to produce rich and fascinating live theatre. Additionally, WBHS's Theatre Arts Program continually works to secure new and innovative pieces of special-effects equipment
to further enhance the quality of our productions.
Fly System
The fly system of the auditorium allows for a dazzling array of set pieces and backdrops to be flown in and out with amazing ease and efficiency.
Dressing Rooms
The male and female dressing/makeup rooms also house respective bathroom facilities. Additionally, a centralized, large makeup room serves as the nerve center for pre-show preparations.
Call Board
The callboard outside the Forum provides students immediate access to information concerning rehearsal schedules, important announcements, and information about college and university level theatre programs.
The Forum
The Forum provides a wonderful setting for classroom work. The Forum also hosts Theatre Week performances and other events requiring a smaller venue.
ITS Office
The I.T.S. (International Thespian Society) Office is housed within the Forum. The space offers members of I.T.S. a place to meet, store books, and hang out before and after school. For the most active members in the theatre program, it becomes a bit of a home away from home.
